NUAC POINTS SYSTEM
Nuac has been giving out racers entry fees as cash prises since
1998!!!! And ever since BC racing has changed for the
better... With $$$ for prize money, our early poineers were able
to get to more races!!!! And in the end helped some of our elite
racers get to overseas races and dominate the world cup year after year!
SOOOO, with tradition, we are awarding a point for every dollar won
racing.... Points????? exactly.... there isnt any...
Whomever wins the most $$$ at the selected races on our list, will be
the NUAC champion and recieve a custom set of NJK leathers provided by
COASTLONGBOARDING and NUAC.
This system will encourage promoters to give more $$$ back to the
racing community. Because, $$$ in racers hands, means our racers
have travelling money to get home, or to another race!!!
The points system is loosely based on # of riders entering the
race. "First place" prize money = # of riders x
$10. for example, 100 riders x $10 = $1000 first
prize purse. 250 riders x $10 = $2500 first prize
purse.
NUAC and COASTLONGBOARDING do not want to limit the amount of $$$ an
organizer can give back to the winning racers. But we do suggest
first place be based on the formula above, and the remainder of the
available prize $$$ be spread further down the list..... So if a
race has $10,000 available in prize purse, spread it out to more racers
rather than give it all to first place purse. Our goal is to see
the prize purse spread to 16'th place, maybe further!!!!! Get
more of our talented COASTLONGBOARDERS to more races!
