The 2007 Sullivan Challenge will take place during the 3rd weekend in July. Festivities begin Friday July 20th, we party all weekend and raceday is Sunday July 22nd. This event has grown from a gnarly little race to a
gnarly big race in 6 years. It's held during Kimberley's famous "JulyFest" weekend. Anyone who's been here for this event can tell ya this town turns upside down.... Live bands, BZZR gardens, Bocce, sports
tournaments of all sorts and of course THE SULLIVAN CHALLENGE DH SK8 RACE!!!!! Riders battle it out on this 9 corner .7 km course 8 at a time. The pavement quality ranges from excelent to
piss poor. The hill drops at a rate of -4% to 15% gradient. There are 3 very nasty, very technical corners that over 1000 spectators oooooh and aaaahhhh all day at.
